I am currently in Grade 10, in Ontario, Canada.
I am enrolled in the French Immersion program, but my high school offers no AP or IB programs/classes, which sucks. I plan to take a few APs by self-learning, but I'm not sure if I'll be prepared enough for that.
I am Asian. I fit the stereotype and my parents would love for me to get into an Ivy League/Wellesley, but I am unsure. If not those, then probably McGill or McMasters.
In French Immersion, the mandatory classes are as follows (in case some of you aren't sure)

Grade 9: Math, French, English, Geography (In French), Science, Gym. Electives: Business (In French), Band. My average was 89.1, 89.8, then I dropped all the way to 88.8. The highest average was a 95, then a 94, then a 93, all by English students.

Grade 10: Math (99), French (90), English (92), History (French) (89), Science (95), Civics&Careers (French) (89 - Civics). Electives: Drama (French) (77) and Business (French) (69!!!). I took two french electives this year in hope to get a French Honours Certificate (For taking 11 French immersion classes instead of 10. . . but that isn't too helpful, is it?) My term 1 average was a terrrrrible 87.4. As you can see the french courses are what kill me.
Next year, instead of taking a French Elective, I will not. I plan to take:
Mandatories; English, French, Enriched Math (This is the first year that they offer it). Electives: 3 Sciences, (Chem, Bio, Physics), Computer Programming (I didn't take it this year because I took a french course) and I'm unsure about the last. I was originally planning to take Band, for an easy 95, but then I realized that American Universities will most likely think poorly on that. . . since Band is not a hard course. Other options are:
Accounting, Law (thinking about it), Marketing (Maybe), <- Those are English, the ones I would consider taking.
French options are: Anthropology&Sociology&Psychology, World History, World Religions. I would take one of these if you guys think the French Honours certificate would help? I mean, it's just taking one extra french course, would the think that's a big deal?

I took COMC this year, which is aimed at Grade 12 students, and I got a certificate of Distinction for placing in the top 25%. (I actually JUST got the minimum score for it. . . not too great.) Placed first in Pascal (Grade 9 Math contest) and planning on taking 2 Grade 10 ones this year. Hoping to take AP Calc & Physics this year, but I'm realllllly bad at it, hopefully the pressure will get to me. I got the Band award in Grade 9, Math in Grade 8 (useless but still). About 125 community service hours. . . (still working on it), and I started tutoring at my school this week, actually.

So I'd like Advice on my last elective. . . also if I am screwed because of French Immersion.
Thanks for reading this long post. If you have questions, feel free.
