Advise me on my chances?

This is my first time here.. Could you guys give me advice as to what my chances might be for SFS? SATs are a big worry of mine.

Background: Mom is Taiwanese, dad Malaysian-Chinese. I've got a Malaysian passport but I've been in Japan my whole life. Attend international school. Female. Senior from Sept.
Speak: English, Mandarin, some Taiwanese, some Japanese, and taking French for my 5th year now.

SAT: 1910 (M690, CR630, W590) will be taking it a second time in Oct
SAT II: Lit 620, Math IC670
TOEFL: 297 (computer based)
Plan to take SAT II Japanese in Nov. Will retake Math IC

I'm an I.B diploma candidate student, take 4 higher levels (English, French, Economics, Music) and 2 standards (Math, Biology). I don't know what my GPA is, as our school doesn't calculate them until we're into our senior year – don’t know rank either…out of 33. Tiny school.

Grades wise, junior year was A’s except for a B+ in Econ. Am pretty much done with my CAS hours except for Activity…just got a few more left to do. For those of you who don’t know, CAS requires 50 hours of each category; Creativity, Action, Service.

Thanks :)

Your SAT score is really low for Georgetown. You haven't taken any SAT IIs? Georgetown is a BIG REACH. Until you know your rank and GPA...it's really hard to tell. You may have a chance at GWU and BU, but I really don't know.

I wouldn't say your SAT score is 'really low'. Georgetown doesn't count the writing so you have 1320 which falls into their range of 1290-1460. Georgetown is a reach but not impossible.

I had a 1210 on my SATs and I'm going to be a sophmore. I went to am int'l school too. You should apply, SATs aren't everything. Your ECs are good too. I'd say you have a good shot.

if good GPA, I think as follows
Georgetown slight reach
Boston Univ match
Univ of British Columbia (Canada) match

YIS? St. Maur?

LF61... I'm at St Maur.

You? ASIJ, StMarys, Seisen, SacredHeart, CAJ? sorry if ive missed any out..

"I wouldn't say your SAT score is 'really low'. Georgetown doesn't count the writing so you have 1320 which falls into their range of 1290-1460."

Those stats just aren't right. I visited Georgetown just yesterday and they said the range was 1340-1520.
