Considering this chart, which supposedly lists the required courses at Georgia Tech:
http://catalog.gatech.edu/programs/aerospace-engineering-bs/#requirementstext
It’s not required that I take any history classes besides those listed? Or is this the chart for just Aerospace Engineering courses? Navigating through the website and finding the list of courses for the full four years is tough. If I’m wrong, is there a resource where I’ll be able to see four year’s worth of classes?
Correct, you’re only required to take one history (or government) class, from the list provided. However, you are required to take 6 other social science credits that can be history, or any other SS class. ***
Colleges don’t schedule out all of the classes for more than one or two semesters/quarters. You’ll know core classes will always be scheduled, but some electives are based on professors availability and schedule. You can assume that most classes offered this year, would be offered next year, but classes are constantly being dropped or added.
EDIT:*** several exceptions, such as doing a Minor in history, which would require 15 hours, of which 9 must be 3000 level or above.
