<p>I'm considering applying to Caltech and I heard that they have a joint AFROTC with USC. Is anyone in the AFROTC at Caltech and if you are what is the Detachment like? and what is the schedule in the week like for you?</p>
<p>You should directly contact the AFROTC program. There’s really not many people who do that, since you really need a car to be able to get to USC frequently. I personally only know one person who’s done that, and he’s already graduated. The AFROTC program can probably get you into contact with him, since he works for the Air Force now. </p>
<p>Also, a lot of people at Tech colleges take DoD scholarships instead, since they don’t require regular training.</p>
