afrotc

See I'm left with an EFC of about 30K and my grades/scores are OK but no where near good enough to get a decent merit award. Plus I have always wanted to be a pilot and I meet all of the prerequisites according to the AF site so it would seem the AF ROTC would be a perfect fit but how is the experience at Case? Any advice is welcome! :)

Pilot slots are very competative. Just know that you may not get the slot. Will you still be happy, if you cannot fly? If so, GO for it 100%! As for the experience at Case, I wouldn't know. I have heard good things in general about AF ROTC.

It's not as big as at other campuses at Case, meaning the one or two people I know who do it are a very close-knit group. Also you have to go a couple times in the semester down to Dayton to the air force base there (a four hour drive away) partly because it's not so big on campus... definetely ask around for more info once you reach campus!
