After submitting application, where do we find out acceptance/rejection?

<p>If we apply to schools with the Common App (and some with their app like Columbia) and submit it, on the day when results are posted, where do we go to find out? Is it on the CommonApp website or do we have some sort of login at each school's website or what? Thanks</p>

<p>You’ll have an account/login at the school’s site. So decisions will come, you’ll get an email saying “log in here to get your result”, and that’s what you’ll do.</p>

<p>Some colleges don’t do that, though, and only send you your decision by mail or email.</p>

<p>But either way, they’ll make it very clear to you what you’re supposed to do when the time comes, so don’t worry about having to find out now.</p>
