Hey, I saw the Vassar website and it said some pretty encouraging things about people who graduate from Vassar. I just wanted to know what the international students went on to do after their Vassar education.
Are there any stats about the international students ?

There are two routes for international students here at Vassar. One, they find a job in most probably NYC and stay on to work or they return home to work. The problem with the first one is getting the visa for the job. Most employers find it a chore to apply for a visa which they might not necessarily get. The career development office and international student's association recently organized a video conference session with graduated intl students. But i'm not sure exactly what jobs do intl students go on too after graduation.

thanks...if you are a student at Vassar, whats the coolest thing about the place ??

Just some anecdotal info--both of my nieces went to Vassar, one as a theater major, one in environmental studies. The theater major has been a professional actress in Europe for ten years now, and the younger is working for an environmental NGO in the SF Bay area, and both are happy as proverbial clams!

oops--meant to say non-profit, not NGO! ;-)

thanks....does anybody have any funny/awesome/wierd anecdote to share about vassar ?
