Agora Info Updated?

can u show u what the links look like?

maybe a screenshot?

jorr08- i thought you had them up, or did they go away as well?

@wpolo8

I think that he either wants to see if he had the exact same links, or he thinks that the poster who claims to still have the links ("AynRand=Lame") is lying.

well i just want to see what it looks like

and to wpolo8, they went away after a couple of hours

sooooooooooo....................

Letters should be in our mailboxes within the next four days, there is no need to freak out. :D

true...

so there are no updated links (reslife or whatever) for anybody?

i really want to get in!

My daughter has a new link on hers. Been there since yesterday. It is the one asking her if she wants to withdraw her app. It was not there until yesterday. I had to tell her it sounds like that may be a sign of a deferral. If it were an outright rejection, they wouldn't give the option of choosing to withdraw. It's sad for her/us. We really thought she'd get in early. I am hoping that's not what it means, but it sounds likely. :(

Maleah...everyone has that link. It's not a sign of anything as far as I can tell.

From what I can gather, the OP is the only one who still claims to have the links active. There are one or two other persons who claim to have seen them, then they disappeared upon refresh. No links in D's account.

maleahhpluvr, we'd all like to prepare ourselves for the worst, but as ChiDad said, I'm pretty sure everyone has them. Agora is quite fickle now, pay it no mind, and wait for the mail.

Everyone has WD links (or will be getting them);

AWESOME, jorr08!! Still not looking good for me. Mine still just has the withdraw link. :( I'm trying to be positive, but it's not looking great.

Yeah :) jorr08 had the links appear and disappear in the same day, but since he got them at one point (not all of us did)...

Some people are private messaging me about ED/EA and withdrawals, since I mentioned before that BC prohibits you from applying ED and SCEA elsewhere under the terms of EA.

If you get accepted by both your ED/SCEA school AND BC, you will have a very precarious situation. Some schools share ED lists, and I'm not sure if Boston College decides to utilize the ones that they are sent. However, if you try to escape your ED or EA agreement, it would be a sticky situation for you and your school.

A few years ago (7 or 8 years), a student at my school went RD to a school when he was accepted ED by Yale, and the school didn't attempt to hold him to his ED contract. Yale hasn't accepted students since (11 or so, 9 qualified- even though it's still down to chance and they have their choice of applicants, at least one student should have been accepted due to stellar grades and extracurriculars), and the caliber of the students is not bad. Students who are rejected by Yale at my school are typically accepted by other Ivies (excepting the one or two "I'm going to get red carpet treatment and have my choice of ivies with a B- and average SAT scores" people ;) )

Maleah...read the post from MeaghaninMaine earlier...her daghters Agora site had the same "withdraw your app" link you are seeing, and she just got accepted as a transfer. I think we are all overthinking this.

i have decided that i will NOT check my agora :)
i am too nervous, and since we don't know if any of it is for sure....it would make me stress out even more!!
i checked my agora last about sunday or so and there was nothing there.
definitely just waiting for my letter :O

Decisions aren't available via AGORA, at least not initially. So your letter will arrive before AGORA even becomes useful to you.

so my friend and I both checked that source thing last night, and this is what it said...

...I got rejected?!

what do you mean by you check the source?

I got in and my agora hasn't been updated yet
