Three dayssssssss

O.M.G.
so. freakin. close.

Calc test tomorrow + English test Tuesday = NO FOCUS
sooo ready for college admissions to be done

@ywna49: haha ikr? thankfully, i’m on spring break! so i can be as “unfocused” as i want, lol. i think the wait on thursday is going to be the toughest part, though.

@busterbeetle In case anyone is actually worried about this, I wrote “UPenn” throughout my essay and I got a likely letter. so calm down…

^I agree with hellokitty44. It’s nothing to worry about. Most colleges are not going to reject you because of things like that…

^ahh great! thanks guys :)

@hellokitty44: Congrats on your “unofficial” (likely letter) acceptance to Penn!!!

I didn’t realize Penn sent likely letters! So now, I’m a little more anxious because I didn’t receive one Is this a bad thing or do only few students actually receive likely letters? Are my chances of getting in less now because I didn’t get a likely letter?

@KAJvet24vball around 200 students received likely letters, so not that many. Don’t worry.

Yeah guys, if some of us get rejected, this is still our support hangout. But if we do get in, let’s meet up at Penn!

I would recommend not skipping school. I’m on spring break and its just blank hours of just thinking. At least at school, you have something to be distracted by. Luckily I am staying at a friend’s dorm right now so touring the campus and lack of internet time so far has made me less stressed out(but i cant help myself if i do have a chance to get on CC xD ) 3 more days!!!

I would agree with nerobie—don’t skip school (unless you are loaded with tests and can’t focus). I had no tests the day the ED results came out, just regular coursework. So it helped time pass faster (doing worksheets, taking notes, etc.).

If you ARE loaded up with tests (some days I have 4, even 5 tests in a day), I would recommend NOT going to school. Why? Because your mind will always be thinking about the admissions results! Mine were (and so were all of my friends for different schools, etc.). It’s really hard to focus, but doing a little menial school work helps make the time go by faster. I would just say not to risk it on test day as tests probably count toward your grades…worksheets and taking notes not so much.

If we all get in… one of you has to be my roomie. <3

My Spring Break starts the night of decisions! At least I don’t have to go to school the day after rejec- I mean, decisions.

I love you, type-A’s

@albina23: thanks! I was freaking out for a second!

@neorobie: I agree, we are all obligated to continue supporting each other no matter what happens. Because that’s what our type-A support system is for And I also, agree that all accepted students should meet up at Penn after decisions are made! I hope I get to meet all of you…fingers crossed…3 more days till we all find out.

I have a math test on thursday, I might fail considering I wont be able to think straight! I haven’t even told my parents I will receive notice that day! :O

Thank you, @KAJvet24vball. But, like albina said, don’t panic! Barely anyone gets likely letters (i think it was 230 this year from Penn?), and they’re only for students that they want to specifically market towards (ex. maybe people interested in science, minorities, incredibly strong applicants, etc.) - I’m quite sure the only reason I got a letter is because I’m a local…

BigGreen2016: indeed! lol… if I do get in, the next fear is finding a roomie that will be okay with all my quirks. hehehheheh

Is there a web-cite, which is used in finding roommates? And do you need to choose a roommate before May 1?

sigh…I still can’t believe I missed a “Northwestern” in my Penn supplement. Sucks that one silly mistake might cost me so much, but alas everything happens for a reason.

2 days and 15 hours left. we are getting close:)
