<p>Hello,
I'm a freshman who is planning to transfer for sophmore year. I go to a mid-sized private university where the professors are fairly accessible. My question is, should I be getting a letter of recommendation from first semester teachers only, or is a second semester teacher alright as well. I realize the latter will have had much less time with me, but has anyone else done this.
This is probably a silly procedural question, but I just feel overwhelmed by all the details.

<p>just get a recommendation from the professor in whose class u have performed the best .... yeah and the question is really silly!</p>
<p>You can do either...whichever prof. you feel you can get the best rec from.</p>
<p>Agreed. Whichever profs you feel can write the best rec about you/know your work the best. Ideally, one or more will be in your planned major field or directly related fields.</p>
