Hi! I am now an 11th grader in high school. I have been thinking about where I want to go, and I want to leave Alabama, since I know UA and AU aren’t the best schools for physics, rank-wise. Also, I’m gay, and I really don’t feel like being picked on for being more feminine. BUT, in the instance in which I do not get into any other schools that I apply to, will Alabama and/or Auburn provide me with a great physics education for when I apply to grad school? Does either school have really good undergraduate research opportunities? I am so interested in physics, and I just really want a good education. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
