I was thinking about applying to University of Alabama's MINT Internship Program for high schoolers. However, their website didnt provide as much info as i would have liked. Does anyone know whether it is a residential camp, whether you can research whatever you want, and how hard/easy it is to get accepted for the program?

Hi jhk888. You can read all about the summer internship opportunity for high school students though The Center for Materials and Information Technology (MINT) at [High School Internship Program | MINT Center - The University of Alabama](http://mint.ua.edu/education/high-school-internship-program/). That link provides information on how to apply, what the internship involves, and who to contact for further questions about the program.

Thank you for the reply. However, i have already been through the website. The website did not explicitely state whether the program was residential and how participants would be able to choose their topic of research. I was wondering if anyone here had previously attended the internship and would be able to share their experience.
