alcohol education requirement?

can you guys access part 1 of the alcohol eduaction requirement which is listed on your berkeley checklist?

the main link
http://www.uhs.berkeley.edu/alcoholedu/
says you should be able to acess part 1 by july 19th (today)

i am a fall extension student so i cannot acess this until 12/15. can fall admits acess this?

well, yes...i was js takin the course and i got so bored i ended it...so i plan to do this way later

what would happen if we mark it as completed and never take the course?

i can't believe i have to sit in front of my PC and go through all this crap.

I don't think you can do that because apparently you have to pass the test at the end of the course.

any other fall extension students out there?

If you mark it completed it wont do anything. That checklist is only a way for you to manage your things. The school doesnt look at it.

w00t! i got a 60% on the pre-test. only need 10% more to pass!
hahaha.

I think they actually check who took the test or not for the requirement. I'm not sure though, as I haven't gotten to it yet.

you can't just mark it complete on the list of things to do. after listening to their 2+ hours of lecturing on the computer, you have to take a test to fulfill the requirement which the school checks.

i hate it, btw. it's boring.

Oh well, something to kill time this summer is worth it I guess...

Wow, I understand the intent but this requirement is a bit too much IMHO.

Maybe they should have a wine appreciation section in that lecture...;)

this thing is SO BORING!!

when i watched this,i thought it would be funny if they had a similar one about caffeine consumption (how much is too much, how to maximize the effectiveness, how much caffeine is in a particular drink, etc) called "CaffeineEDU for Cal".

When i took it last year, i had another browser opened and did my own thing and when i stopped hearing the ppl talk or whatever, i clicked back.

what do fall extension students do?

You drink.....

AlcoholEDU was annoying as hell. I basically just did other crap on the 'Net, went back to AlcoholEDU to press "forward" once every five minutes or so, and took the final exam without listening to any of the videos whatsoever. I scored one correct response below the passing grade (blame it on the fact that I simply don't drink, so at the time I naturally didn't know jack about things like how to cure hangovers). When you fail, the program tells you what the correct answers are an gives you another exam with the questions rearranged. There were probably a few new questions too, but nothing too bad. On the retest I scored nearly a 90%. Too bad I don't have the answers saved anymore (my computer crashed and I lost a bunch of data), so you guys will have to go through the same boring process that I went through. :D

Dear lord, I am definitely going to do this at work.

Thanks for the heads up :D

so its not like if u dont pass u have to take some stupid class. u can just take the test again right?

yep pretty stupid huh!
