<p>do schools even send letters anymore, or do they email you first to let you know your acceptance/rejection? </p>

<p>i feel like when i visited northeastern they were talking about how "green" they were that everything was via computer.. but i think that's kinda lame. i want the excitement of waiting for the mail, not knowing, anxious..</p>

<p>I think that despite all the "green"ness, colleges still mail out their acceptance letters. However, to make things more convenient for the applicant, I think they also allow students to check their status online too before the letters comes.</p>
