Why does it surprise you that some people have never pulled an all-nighter? It really isn't normal.

I have many times, but I know many who have not.

I have many times, but I know many who have not.

"I pulled an all nighter watching The Office. "

Well worth it my friend

Correction: I've never pulled an all nighter doing hw. Or other school related stuff I guess.

I've stayed up all night a couple of times during sleepovers and whatnot.
I remember doing it for a Gilmore Girls marathon...3 seasons or something like that..and then we were pretty much dead. It took forever...hahahah. Like 2 days?

And when HP5 came out...we watched all 4 and then went to the earliest showing of HP5the next day. We got done with HP4 like 30 minutes before we had to leave. Our marathons always last longer than we plan. I guess we never take into account food breaks ...which can last quite a while :)

But I'm pretty sure I'll have to pull an all nighter at least once before high school is over.

Secret Asian Man: You're right, it isn't normal. I guess it just surprises me because I'm so used to pulling them that I can't imagine others not doing so.

What do you guys do to stay awake?

Once it gets past midnight...it takes a LOT to not fall asleep. Like I can fall asleep just reading over a chapter for history at 1am and wake up 5 hours later and not remember that I fell asleep..

Smile614: I LOVED Gilmore Girls. Before Logan, that is. And if Paris Geller ran for President I would vote for her in an instant.
I've stayed up for HP too, but it was to read the book, not to watch the movie.

I'm pulling one tonight. Sometimes I'll fall asleep, but if I HAVE to finish my work then usually I just won't let myself go to bed. If you do pull an all-nighter though, make sure you're getting up and walking around for a few minutes every hour or so, and drinking water to keep your brain hydrated..

I LOVE Gilmore Girls! I would definitely vote for Paris Geller.

Well, with a few cups of coffee I can pull an all-nighter..
I actually have to pull one tonight. loads of homework and projects..

Shower and "take care of business" every few hours if you know what I mean...

Finishing my grade-level project (required for graduation).

3:51 AM

You know you're getting older when you're like "Crap... I only have 5 hours."

I'm still studying and doing homework. Wow, I'm not very productive...

Procrastinators Unite!

Finished my powerpoint, half-way through reflections, then about 4 pages more to add to my paper. Physics lecture at 9:00, so let's hope I'm done before then.

Don't forget, a true all nighter is when you don't sleep that night AND you don't sleep until the following night. That means going to bed at like 7 or 8 AM is not a true all nighter.

That being said, I've probably only pulled 2-3 true all nighters before, all on school nights. I usually get 1-2 hours of sleep somewhere during the night instead of pulling the full all nighter. During the summer, my "all nighters" usually end up with me going to bed between 7-9 AM so they aren't true all nighters.

Naw it's not like it's called a "24 hourer," it's an all nighter, as in you stay up all night, the following day has nothing to do with it.

^ Haha yeah in the summer I do that occasionally just because I'm not ready to go to bed yet and then once everyone else wakes up, I just crash.

I drink LOTS of ice cold water when I have to stay up late...and lots of caffeine and it keeps me awake just fine until I have to study. I can do projects, papers, worksheets but the minute I switch to studying for a test, my brain just shuts down. Haha advice??

Call me crazy, but I actually liked Logan? Not at first. I thought he was a real jerk but then he just kinda grew on me..
Didn't like Jess. Dean was the best. For sure.
Hated the way the whole show ended though..We plan to have a Gilmore Girls marathon this summer with all 7 seasons..but that might take like a week ..with no sleep.

Hahahahhaha Paris! As long as I don't have to share a dorm room with her..
My head would explooode.

Hmmm now that I think about it, I've never pulled an all nighter READING Harry Potter...probably because I was going through my HP addiction I was only like in the 4/5th grade so staying up until 10pm was like a big deal. And for the last couple, I just started really early in the morning and got done really late at night. I would just read alllllll day.

Actually, I haven't went to sleep yet. I pulled off an all nighter last night. It isn't much fun...:(

~ Theos

meh
sleep is for the weak

Meh, everyone has his own definition. Although just crashing when morning comes around makes the all nighter much less impressive. It's really not that difficult to stay up an extra 6-7 hours, especially when you have something to do.
