En el Nombre del Padre, el Hijo y el Espiritu Santo...

Amen.

ummm.....?? You kinda switched that around GO ARMY BEAT NAVY (and Airforce)

and can someone please fill me in on the spanish. Ich spreche Deutsch.

If I had the maturity of an eight year old, I would post a similar thread on the Naval Academy site, but instead I'll recall a great cadence I learned not too long ago:

"...Oh, there are no Army Rangers in the Navy,
Oh, there are no Army Rangers in the Navy,
They just cruise around on boats
Doin' who-knows-what to goats,
Oh, there are no Army Rangers in the Navy..."

The translation on that phrase is "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit," I think (it's been a while since my last spanish class).

Ummm...Good call Flying Falcon.
Oh and tn48th, ich auch spreche deutsch (kinda :-)

aint no army rangers in the coast guard
they just sit around on tugs, smokin confiscated drugs

There are no Navy pilots down in Hell
There are no Navy pilots down in Hell
There are Stags and there are Q_eers
Army pilots, Bombardiers
But there are no
Navy pilots down in Hell!!!

"En el Nombre..."
means
In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen

Oh man, what have I started...

Forum War!

well envee you have made a typical woop reply... and you just got owned by my good puertican buddy! Good job V!

Hijack of forum: COMPLETE

It's interesting that my "typical woop reply" was copied by vcm2007. Maybe middies just naturally follow the lead of their comrades from the Point. Very interesting...

Just getting even. Anything worse would be unfair.

Anything worse and we'd have momoftwins yelling at us! :D

We should start getting used to getting yelled at...

Not that I need to get used to it or anything. ;)

"Just getting even. Anything worse would be unfair."

By the way, that was very cool-headed of you not to retaliate. I was fuming at FlyingFalcon's stupid antics and you got caught in the cross-fire. Not very honorable of me; I'm usually very cautious about my posts, but that one I fired off without thinking. R-Day isn't even here and I'm already getting defensive when someone takes a jab at WP!

Don't burn FlyingFalcon. We're just two 2011 hopefulls who decided to stir up some action. It's my fault as much as his. I would actually go as far as to say that I deserve the flaming, since I went ahead and added the Amen phrase and the Navy pilots song. He just posted a harmless phrase repeated over and over at USNA, instilling pride. If there's anyone to flame on, it's me.

Keep in mind that the most shallow form of pride comes from demeaning others. The only pride and self-respect worth having is the kind that comes from ones own accomplishments. I realize that, coming from me, this is very hypocritical, but at least your friend FlyingFalcon's remarks did succeed in reminding me of this fact (and raising my blood pressure).

hahaha Mission Accomplished!

Don't get me started again, FlyingFalcon.
