Alpha Phi Alpha

What can y'all tell me about this fraternity. I've heard some pretty great things about what they do around the university and in the community. But I know there are two sides to every story. Pros?? Cons?? much appreciated

There are some old threads about the Greek scene. Just do a search and I bet you’ll find them.

Thank you Dean J.

However, in my search I only found one thread titled “Frats/Sororities” and in this thread, it really turns into more of an argument between several people versus really enlightening people on the Greek life at UVa. In one particular response, Alpha Phi Alpha is mentioned, but as a sorority. And unless I’m completely confused, as far as I know it is a Fraternity.

Regardless, thank you for the suggestion and I will dig further.

They are the African American Fraternity within the IFC. Here is the IFC website describing their fraternity.

Thanks. I appreciate it.
