Alt Energy/Environmental Engineering?

What are some engineering schools with good chemical engineering programs or a focus/program for alternative energy or environmental engineering?

You'd have to put Berkeley at the top of this list...Great in terms of chemical engineering. A powerhouse in the alternative energy area both through its ERG and its scientific efforts...

2.1.2007 - BP selects UC Berkeley to lead $500 million energy research consortium

Department of Energy’s Joint BioEnergy Institute Gets New Home in Emeryville:

Go to Cornell's site and search engineering alternative energy solutions. Very impressive research going on their.

This is exactly what I'm interested in!

Wash U St. Louis just changed the name of their ChemE department to the Department of Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering. They obviously thus have a strong focus on energy engineering and alternative energy.

Tufts University has a fairly small engineering department but some sustainable energy research going on because of their international focus.

Also check out SUNY-ESF's bioprocess engineering process. Of very different caliber than many common CC colleges, but it looks like a really cool program that I am definitely going to be applying to.
