<p>Do you guys know of any sort of certificate, award or recognition any university, company, or program etc offers to students.
I mean, there are olympiads, which are tough, - not everyone's shot.</p>
<p>So is there anything that could provide some sort of award or medal etc for anything we do?
For eg: Medal on basis of my grades or like certification by oracle/microsoft etc.</p>

<p>College adcoms are smart enough - they don’t need you to have Medals based on your grades to substantiate the fact that you are good in academics.</p>
<p>If you are referring to an Internship at Oracle/Microsoft - then awesome, that is something you could do!! But if you are referring to Oracle/Microsoft giving you a certificate for excellent academic quality - that would be rather stupid and why would a company even do so??</p>
<p>Olympiads aren’t the be all and end all. There are millions of ECs out there. No one can tell you to do something, you have to WANT to do it by yourself.</p>
<p>If you are referring to academic awards - there are rarely any(except the olympiads). Though completing online college courses from Harvard,MIT, etc. would sit well on any application.</p>
