I know that NU contacts us for the interview, but I haven't received a letter yet. Should I call them or something?

they dont contact you.. they had interview sessions in january that you could sign up for on their website. its too late now.

"More information about alumni interviews will be sent to students after they have applied."

This is from the Northwestern website. I didn't receive any information about alumni interviews...

Then you aren't getting one. Don't sweat it.

You had to send in part I of your application by Dec. 1 to get information. I think some other people in my area got letters later because there were enough interviewers at the interview weekend to accomodate them.

I'd give anything to get a letter like that from northwestern.

Yeah, when a NU admissions rep came to my school they gave us something that waived the application fee if we did Part I by Dec 1. I did and when I was applying, I saw that Dec 1 was also the cut-off date to get the interview. I don't think it was really a big deal...I just got a postcard and e-mail that gave me the website to register for the alumni weekend. I wasn't able to go, however, so I visited the site and found the e-mail address of a guy to contact if you couldn't make that weekend. I had my interview a few weeks later at an alum's office.
