Definitely apply EA to MIT. I suggest you not list non-STEM activities unless you’ve achieved a level of expertise that enables you to submit a supplement. Good luck. I have a feeling you won’t need any.
I ended up listing cancer research, drama, National Honors Society (I was elected president of my 140-person chapter so I thought this was a good thing to include), and Math Club (which I was also president of). In my awards section, I listed my “Made the Best of a Small Part” drama award in lieu of National Merit Semifinalist. In my essays, I talked about singing, told a kind of funny story about being on homecoming court, described my female STEM teachers and role models, and talked about tutoring. Got accepted EA. Thank you everyone for all of your advice :).
Congratulations! Judging by all that you’ve achieved, you’ll contribute much to the MIT community. I’m certain you’ll love the 4 years spent there.
congrats.
Girl, AIME qualifier. Slam dunk.
