Am I an "International"?

I just wanted to clear things up about this question. I live in Pakistan and am doing A' Levels (final year starting in a few days) but I'm a US citizen by birth.

So will I be considered as an international or just as a normal student? Also, will this effect my chances for financial aid?

For the purposes of financial aid, if you’re a US Citizen registered for Selective Service and with no drug convictions, you’re pretty much eligible for federal aid (and most other forms of aid). For the purposes of reporting, we’d likely not categorize you as an international if you’re a U.S. citizen, even if you’re a dual citizen. For the purposes of admission, you likely would be categorized as an internaitonal because our communication with you would be transatlantic, your transcript would be based on the British system, etc.

Reporting?

Reporting enrollment numbers to the department of education, guidebooks, state, etc.
