<p>I say apply to as many schools as you want to apply to. I applied to about 20 schools. And only payed for one application that was $35. There are so many application fee waivers for students that many people don’t know about. But you do have to meet the qualifications in order to use the fee wavier. In other words, “gotta be poor” Anyways if you don’t qualify then apply to the schools that you know for sure that you would attend and then if you get accepted to let’s say 10/15 (example) schools decide which ones do you not want to go to anymore, financial aid, reputations, etc. That’s what I did. I got into 13/20 schools that I applied to, and then factored my “requirements” lol.</p>
<p>Lagging, I actually agree with you completely about only applying to schools you genuinely like. I just think if there’s 17 schools you genuinely like then sure, do it, but don’t just apply to 20 schools because it’ll increase your chances…</p>
<p>Also, if you don’t get to do visits like some people I know, I can also understand applying to a lot of schools…</p>
