Am I considered homeless?

<p>I am an eighteen year old and my situation is confusing me.
I DID live with my mom a little under two weeks ago, and I moved out due to differences between the boyfriend and I. I live with a friend and her grandparents. I still pay for all my things, and food and what not.</p>

<p>Does this make me homeless in the eyes of FAFSA?</p>

<p>No. Homelessness would be because of things outside of your control. Choosing to move out because of differences would not qualify you.</p>

<p>You are homeless if your custodial parent is homeless. If YOU choose to leave your parent, that is a whole other story.</p>
