Am I good enough to get substantial financial aid?

I will be applying for 10th grade for next year, however, I will need to receive substantial financial aid (~50% of total tuition). Does anybody know if there are any prep-school scholarships available for me to apply for? The school that I am looking into offers scholarships, but I want to have a couple of possible paths open in the event I do not receive a scholarship from the school. The school I am applying to is not that selective, however it is around 30K a year.

My stats:
SSAT- 2337 (98%)
Quantitative: 776 (85% overall, 83% gender)
Verbal: 761 (90%)
Reading: 800 (99%)
ALL A’s

Extracurriculars:
Vice-president of eSports club
Vice-president of the Debate club
Participant in Model United Nations
Participant in Tennis Team (not that good lol)
Ambassador of our school
NJHS (last year)

There are a lot of parents here more experienced than I am with how FA works but it’s my understanding that schools aim to match need. They are not giving more aid for “better candidates”. If your fa forms show you need 50% aid and you’re accepted with a fa spot you’ll get most of what the form says you need. If the school is running low on fa you may be offered less.

Merit aid is different and I don’t know how that works at all as my family hasn’t explored it.
