Am I good enough?

Hey, I am a out of state sophomore and I'm looking to transfer out. these are my stats

Transferring From James Madison University

Current Classification: sophomore
College GPA: 3.9
Major: Political Science
Minor: econ
ACT/SAT Scores: 1950
High School GPA: 2.9 didn't do well freshman or sophomore years but 4 AP's and one dual English class

Extracurricular Activities/Volunteer Work: Peer Tutor, member of the Black Student Alliance, The College Democrats club, Church related activities, volunteered over the summer at the Science Museum of Virgina, intramural soccer, campaigned the 2012 election

Bump…

Your stats are stellar so they wouldn’t deny you for that reason. I think the only way they would deny you is if your essays are subpar or you lie about your ecs. That being said, crush the essays and I think you’ll definitely get in.

Hey! I go to UNC and have met many transfers from a variety of places, so I may be able to help you out. I honestly would not worry about your high school GPA. They’ll care about how you performed in college (very well, apparently), and your extracurriculars. You’re OOS in VA, so it will be harder, but it’s definitely possible!
