Am I heading in the right direction? (General evaluation)

My stats:

Male
White

Weighted GPA: 4.513
Rank: top 15%
ACT: 33
SAT: N/A (not sending them in)
EC:
-President of Young Democrats
-Board member of Drama Club
-Board member of Science Days (teach science to elementary schoolers)
-many volunteer hours from Beta club and IB
-NSLI-Y (State Department-sponsored scholarship) winner/participant

I will be graduating with 10 AP credits (4s and 5s on all so far)
I'm in the IB program

My main worries are my GPA and rank... I go to a very competitive high school

Thanks!

GPA is fine, rank is good but not great (aim for top 10 percent). ECs are good, but don’t make you stand out. You are a strong candidate for many schools, but for the most selective schools you are rather average.

Where are you thinking of applying?

UNC Chapel Hill (in state)
American University
Boston University
Georgetown (reach)
possibly NYU
