Am I in the right direction for WELLESLEY?

I’m definitely considering applying to Wellesley college, but after reading a variety of different discussions and forums and seeing the profiles of other potential applicants, I can’t help but feel drastically under qualified, so it would be great to have a personalized opinion. Also, it would be helpful f you could lend some kind advice on what SAT subjects I should take. Thanks in advance!

International student from Canada

Ethnicity: Asian-American

GPA: I’m not familiar with how GPA conversion works yet but my average from grade 9-11 is about 92%

*I do go to a highly competitive public school (consistently #1 or #2 in province)

6 AP courses throughout grade 11-12

SAT: 2050 (yep, I know, this is a major weakness, I’m considering taking it again if its not too late, but I know i’ve screwed myself over jupiter)

SAT SUBJECT: TBA, I plan on taking Biology E for sure, but I can’t decide between math II and French (no listening)
(I’m trying to aim for near-perfect to compensate for my low SATs, would this help?)

*So obviously as you can see I’m not particularly loaded with math/science awards or achievements, which at this point i’m not sure is an advantage or disadvantage. I’ve heard that if you are of asian descent you’re better off marketing yourself as “less asian” by avoiding music (especially piano or violin), maths, sciences, and badminton/ping pong as your major interests, and therefore shedding some uniqueness onto a highly stereotyped group (no offence intended, this is what I’ve been told by people who have worked in admissions). The biggest thing in particular i need help with right now is figuring out which SAT subjects to take, and how to make up for my low SATs.

Let me know what you think, I’m already aware that I’m on the lower end of the applicant spectrum for Wellesley but I want to know how likely it’ll be that I can slip in. Plethora of thank-yous.
