Am I Ivy League material?

Honestly, if you love sports, but you still don’t know if you want business or science. Why have you excluded Stanford? Next to Silicon Valley (new-age business), great scientific achievements, best sports program for years and a school where you’re bound to meet some of tomorrow’s brightest names… I know you don’t like the weather, but I’d think twice about throwing it in the trash bin…

Your academics are great, but, as for all of us applying to the Ivies and the top colleges, there’s always a lottery-like factor…

Good luck!

Haha yeah, I’m from the Silicon Valley…I haven’t excluded Stanford (and granted if I got in there I would be very happy) but I’ve visited a few times and it’s never really appealed to me…and I don’t feel like going to college right in my own backyard, I want to have the experience of going somewhere far and really just starting a new life, if that makes sense. If I went to Stanford I wouldn’t even feel like I ever left home.

I understand, that perfectly, if I get accepted at Stanford, I’ll probably cross the Atlantic and mainland America just to go to college ahaha

No, but seriously speaking, I think, that if you’d like to East, why not? It’s not like your chances are going to get hurt by going to Harvard or something :P

yep, but you might freeze your butt off ;P

yeah u will likely get into the school u want to go, this kid in my school has pretty much the same stats as you, except we have IB here instead of AP and he had a 4.8 GPA weighted, and he got into Upenn Wharton school of business.
