Am I Ivy Material??

So I just got out of my junior year of high school and was wondering if I have a shot of getting in to Princeton or any of the other ivies or top schools. I was gonna call this thread chance me but then I realized that there is no magic key or magic extracurricular to guarantee an acceptance to one of these fine schools. That being said here we go........

And that's about it!

Are you kidding? You’re definitely ivy material! Apply with confidence  obviously no one can guarantee anything, but you’re on the right track for sure.

Latin, meaning Latino?

You’re in.

You have a very high chance but also keep in mind that those schools are very hard to get into so do not feel discouraged if you don’t get in.

You can sing, you can write, you can study, and you’re lucky to be a first-generation student. (And they’re mere under-statements)

But what really distinguishes you from the others?

Your upbeat personality? Your good ‘Arts’ skills?

How can you best contribute to Ivy League schools, like say Yale Arts or Princeton Atelier, which you might be interested in?

Other than these, just go and apply. You’d done really well.

I think you would be accepted to several Ivy League schools, and maybe all of them if they identify you as a URM.

One of the strongest profiles I’ve seen, I would be surprised if you didn’t get into at least one of the Ivies; I predict you’ll get into several of the Ivies.

That’s an impressive resume, no matter who you are. The only weakness is a lack of sports and a competitive club (like debate). How about entering your newspaper or literary magazine into a competition?

Disagree^^^. You do not need to have every EC, like a sport and debate. Better to delve intensely into your passions, writing and choir, and demonstrate exceptionality there.
