I know some of my grades weren't that good but thats because I had just started a really hard private high school and almost everyone at my schools grades go up a lot sophomore year.
Do I have a good chance at Cornell still?

sure…doing really well in sophomore and junior years will look good to lots of different schools. also keep on taking a difficult schedule, including those APs. good luck. :)

ok thanks any advice?

I agree that you are on the right track, keep up the good work. And remember to follow you interests. Schools want kids who demonstrate passion in a given area. I think you are young enough that you should be exploring lots of activities. As you get older, you may choose to pursue a small number of activities in a more in depth fashion. The important thing is to pursue your interests, not what you think will look good on an application.

One suggestion: As you go on with your high school career, with harder and more challegne classes, you may not have enough time to do every sport and every club you have signed up today.

As TKsmom said, purse a small number (even one is good…). EXCPETIONALLY WELL particpated is better than having 5,6 clubs and 2,3 sports award.

For example, I liked robotics and so I co-founded a robotics team in school. Now it became a class due to my legacy.

The team is doing exceptionally well and is gaining a lot of recongition from different levels.
