Am I on the right track?

Hello everyone,

Although I usually peruse the threads I am now in need of some help. I am wondering if I am on the correct track course-wise for when I apply to transfer next spring.

For some background, I graduated high school back in June with a 4.0 and was set to go to a state school, but ended up at a community college due to finances (I got a full scholarship so, why not?). With APs, I was able to get out of taking:
Comp I&II
Western Civ I&II and
Intro Bio I&II

This past semester I finished my gen eds by taking:
Intro to Lit
General Psych
Art History: Ancient to Medieval and
College Algebra

This semester I am taking

Introductory Microbio, College Trigonometry, Basic Skills Chemistry, Oral Communications, and Intro to Anthropology

My goal is to major in Molecular Bio (I want to work in genetics in the future) and with the remaining two semesters at CC I will take
Genetics, Pre-Calc, Calc I, Gen Chem I&II, Physics I&II and two other classes (a language, another anthro class, or another biology)

My goal is to major in MolBio and minor in Anthro.

I feel that I am lacking in my classes though. I know that I will have mostly science classes once I transfer, but I should be able to graduate in two years, right?

Also, is there any chance of studying abroad with this set up of courses or will I probably just have to give up on that dream?

I apologize for this being such a long post, but I just had to ask. My adviser tells me I'll be fine, but I just worry about it. Thank you very much for any responses in advance. I greatly appreciate it.

Whether or not you can finish your degree in 2 yrs depends on how: many of your credits are approved to transfer by your new school, how well you fulfill their gen ed requirements, and what their major/minor requirements are. I don’t see anything in your schedule that looks like a problem (eg. remedial, lightweight courses, etc.), but again, that is for each individual school to assess.

Many schools require that you spend a minimum of 2 yrs on campus, so if you are on track to graduate in 2 yrs, you may have to settle for a summer abroad rather than a sem.
