Hi, i am really worried that i might not be able to go to a good college because of the money my parents earn. I hate the fact of my dad paying full tuition for me because then he will not leave me alone for the rest of my life about paying for me!

Father: 50,000$ a year
Mother: 45,000$ a year
Sister: None
Me: None

My Father owns an Apartment Building which brings him most of his money. 800-1,200$ a month for each apartment with a total of 22.

Am i possibly able to get some financial aid?

Take some time to learn about the various kinds of financial aid and how they work. There’s a wealth of info here and at sites like findaid.org. Due to your parents’ incomes it’s unlikely that you’ll get federal/state aid other than loans but you might get merit aid. Depends on your stats, which colleges you apply to, and how flexible you’re willing to be.

My advice would be to get an estimate of your FAFSA and Profile EFC and look for schools that would be a good fit and offer merit aid. And try to be gracious about accepting your dad’s help - it’s a gift, not a mandatory obligation. Many parents can’t/won’t contribute anything toward college expenses.

I see you’re looking at Syracuse and BU. I doubt you’d get much need based aid from either considering income and the asset you mention, but both offer some merit aid to their top applicants.
