Am I screwed for the Naval Academy?

This is the summer before my junior year and I recently visited the Naval Academy in Annapolis and was inspired to potentially go to school there.

But the thing is that the military academies are more science and math oriented, compared to my reading and writing strengths. Earlier this hear I nearly flunked my Honors Chemistry final and have already decided that I am going to take regular physics this year instead of honors physics. My math has been my second weakest point, abut I improved every quarter, and got an A in the fourth quarter of this year (95%in Honors Algebra 2).

All of my other grades are ggood, but my school does not calculate grades on a 4 point scale so I don't know that number.
My extraciriculars are okay, I am on the golf team, and and was one step away from going to the state finals. Also I am a good distance runner in track.

I have gone to states for FBLA, and will be an Eagle Scout within 6 months.

During the next school year, I am planning on joining the Red Cross Club and the History club in my school.

I apologize in advance for bad grammer, because I am trying to do this from my phone.

I'm not really sure I want to attend, I know that it is very difficult compared to regular college life, but I just want to know if I should still consider going here, because I know that it is extremely competitive, and if I don't have a good chance I will just forget it all, because this is not my first choice at the moment.

The level of commitment that is required to be an applicant for one of the service academies (i.e. securing a congressional nomination, etc). is typically only appropriate if said academy is your “first choice.”

It could become my first choice, I just started considering it.

But if it is to math and science oriented, then I’ll just move on.

Look at the required courses there from the website. The Academy gives all students a BS - Bachelors of Science so there are a lot of requirements in math and science. That may help you decide. That is also good to look at for all colleges.
