Am I still a freshman if I take summer courses?

<p>Hi, I have been a PSEO student since the spring of my junior year. I have been admitted to The U's CLA. I would like to take a couple summer classes at a local community college that I have been doing PSEO from. At the moment, I am admitted as a freshman student, if I take summer classes, will I not be considered a freshman anymore for fall admission? Will they revoke my freshman admission? Should I apply as a fall 2012 transfer now to be safe? </p>

<p>Also, I dropped a class (english literature course) before I knew I was admitted. I found out I was admitted two days after I dropped the course. Will that also revoke my admission? I have met all my basic English course requirement already, so that was an elective.

<p>You should talk to the University of Minnesota admission’s department to make sure but you should still be considered a freshmen applicant. Again, I don’t think dropping the class should be a huge deal but you need to notify the University of Minnesota’s admission department about it.</p>
