I hadn’t heard of them until their Hamilton Mask Up Parody. Watching it again, it is hard to believe that they made it almost two years ago.

I gotta admit this fully entertains me. I sort of love how he has used his ADHD to find a niche where he goes ALL out and can churns this humor out - even if overdone!

Bumping as a reminder the show’s on tonight.
In the teaser for next week’s episode, it was mentioned, as reported earlier, that some teams (2?) did not return when the race resumed.
Then Phil started to say something about adding replacements? What he had to say was cut off presumably to leave a cliff hanger.
Something about familiar faces returning. The speculation now is that 4 of the remaining teams will not return. 2 non returning teams are obvious due to life events in the interim.
Do we know who the new teams are? Are they from this season or past ones?
No. Only speculation.
Care to elaborate? I must have missed something.

Caro & Ray, the Love Island couple, broke up during the break. Connie, of Connie & Sam, was pregnant when filming resumed.

Without giving a spoiler, I am sorry to see one of those teams may not be returning. They were my favorite.
Probably the same as the team I was rooting for.
I hope that teams that were unable to return, but still want to participate, will be offered a spot on a future season.

That’s interesting. If I am reading the chart correctly, it makes sense to bring those teams back.

I’ll PM you. And I’ll add that all info, including that on the Wiki (excluding the 2 teams I mentioned upthread) are speculation. Nothing confirmed by TAR production.

If you go to the wiki, look at the photos of the teams—the info on who is gone and, who returned, and who is filling in is all there.

So we know which two teams who were eliminated who returned but don’t know who 3 and 4th teams returning are? Sorry to see a couple of the couples not return. Happy for those who get another chance.
That said, it was a good episode but I think mentally I was a little clouded just waiting to see what exactly was going to happen at the end when Phil announced the pause! It’s always weird to watch these things….who would have thought they would have to wait so long to return - you can see that look on their face like many of us felt… “what? We are not going to come to work??”
I mean in the amount of time gone, so much can happen to a couple….

I could see the five teams that were there at the beginning of the teaser which confirmed who did not return. When Phil started the next leg, there were seven teams but I couldn’t tell which two teams were added. I am guessing that it was the two eliminated teams as they are “familiar faces”. It’s going to be a long wait until next Wednesday.
You mean you didn’t predict that the Love Island couple wouldn’t last?

There are not 4 teams entering/reentering, only 2. So the “net net” is the next leg will start with 2 fewer teams.
