Amazon prime days Coming up

Buy the service contract. Do not pass on that option.

I have a Nordic Track bike. It started having problems after a year. After it was out of warranty. I can not even get anyone to talk to us without paying a service tech to come out at our expense.

Who doesn’t know anything about the bike. And I have to have him come out again. At our expense. Rinse and repeat.

We finally suspended our membership and it collects dust. Because we can’t get it to work correctly

I forgot. Buy the membership during their Black Friday sale. That’s the cheapest option all year

which membership??

I also just bought a large box of the color catchers that I throw in the wash to keep colors from getting onto other items. They were about 33% off

I was adding on to my Nordic track bike post. Should have edited my post

I didn’t because @hebegebe had already read the first post

Anyone have a bird bath they would recommend?

Thanks. Wasn’t sure if it was the Nordic track membership or maybe Amazon had a discount on prime memberships (not the free trial one) during prime days.

You all are a bad influence, just bought the aerogarden, i had only bought protein powder and a spare charger before this thread.

I almost bought the aero garden, but I have parsley and basil growing in my deck garden (ate up the cilantro and the dill died)- but I really don’t cook much - I give it away! So I sat on my hands and didn’t buy it.

I bought the lettuce pack! I can see using that, and it says you can grow tomatos and strawberries!!! I have a feeling it will go back to school with S21 and his room mate who are into spices or to my mil who would be obsessed with growing her own lettuce in a tiny NYC apartment.

I promise I am not sponsored by Aerogarden…lol, but you know it’s less than 6 months to Christmas…for under $50 it could be a really fun gift to open especially for those in the throws of a cold winter season!

(I would be curious to hear from current Aerogarden owners - how long have you had yours, do you consider it a success, what are must have or not worth it accessories/plants???)

I bought it, and an extra set of pods, for my older s’s in-laws as a holiday gift 2 winters ago. I paid more than the prime price, but it was ,IMO, a great gift that she was able to “plant” the herbs with our granddaughter and they could watch them grow and “harvest” them.

I love this idea of it being a adult/child activity!

You can grow flowers in it too! I haven’t tried it yet but I’m going to very soon.

I’ve had two aerogardens over the years–my first was when they first came out and eventually the water pump broke and by then they had upgraded the design so I bought a new one. The first was 9 pods and the new one is the 6 pod slim line (on sale now). The slim line fits great on my kitchen counter without taking up too much space. The only thing to really watch is that some plants grow crazy fast and can block the light of slower growing ones. Basil is nuts (absolutely went on everything–loved it all–different types). Lettuce was delicious–we didn’t get huge amounts but mixed it in with other salad greens–very fun. You need to keep harvesting the bounty or the plant runs its cycle and will die off. Haven’t tried tomatoes but others on the internet say it can get very tall pretty fast and really needs replanting or it becomes unwieldy.

I bought the 50 pod “grow your own” seeds kit. Want to try out some different things and the Aerogarden is great for germinating seeds. We bought a raised garden bed (self watering) on our porch to transplant things into. That’s been fun too. It’s not too big (or messy) but entertaining. Cabbage is beautiful, peppers are fun. Green onions from the grocery store we just stuck the rooted part in the soil and got an endless supply.

The light is on about 12 hours per day. It’s pretty bright (led so pretty low energy) so either figure it as a great night light or time it for the daylight.

I got the Aerogarden for son for his Seattle apartment a couple of years ago. He started with the mixed herbs, basil a couple of times, and lettuces once. He says it generates a lot of heat in the summer so he doesn’t use it then; better in winter. I’m trying to talk him into the seed pod kit. He asked, where would I get seeds? Oh, poor millennial child.

LOL, I actually looked up to see if any advent calendars were on sale. :grimacing:

LOL. Maybe your son just doesn’t want to “garden”. Mine at least never generate heat–LED lights just do not do that like a regular bulb would. And the “where would I get seeds?” is a big clue!

Well this was interesting. The noise cancelling headphones were listed today for even less than I paid yesterday (about 20% less). I was able to cancel the previous order and reorder them. Score.
