D is now thinking of pursuing a BBA. She's worried about applying to a school and then not getting into their business program (like Michigan). Also, math isn't her strong suit. Any ideas on good undergrad business programs? She's going to probably end up with a 3.5 unw which probably won't get her into Michigan anyway (but she took lot's of honors and APs and father is an alum). Also, pretty good ECs and hopefully good SATs and ACTs. Know good schools which accept you into business and how hard is the math?

Oh God. I posted a thread called Amazon. Sorry. By the way, I'm not a mythological, man-killer. It has to do with the book-seller.

I think it is helpful to know math through calculus for courses like econometrics or decision sciences, but marketing, econometrics, and decision sciences can be taught without a calc prerequisite. It depends on the program. You will have to ask how the courses are taught at the particular college.

By the way, the undergrad business program at Cornell is general business, not just agribusiness.

I think she can get through calculus, but it doesn't get much more "mathy" than that?
