Well, I did not like the way that ended. I like both of them.
I liked Dillon too! Tonight my favorite was the young man from Nepal. I think he might win. There were several others that I really liked. The girl who started in the coat and ended with a yellow dress. I’ll have to check the list of names to post more usefully 
The voting at the end was a surprise so I always wonder how anyone can get the numbers down so fast. I liked the country one with the guitar but it was close.
I did not like Kimmy Gabriela’s song choice tonight and wish she would stop throwing so many runs into her performances.
I loved Aliana Jester, who sang This Is Me. Great control, beautiful tone, and so effortless.

I wish they would just keep all 21. There are others in the first 19 who should go home before #20 & #21. They are both great! (sorry I didn’t pay attention to their names)
There seems to be a flaw in the program in that there was only one spot left but two singers who deserved to be in the top 20. There were definitely others accepted who would not have won in a competition with those two (Nick?).
I thought both of the last two were miles better than the first girl they put through last week (Faith?). The little girl in the yellow dress was adorable. Triple threat. There seem to be a lot of teenagers this year.
Olivia (trenchcoat/yellow dress) surprised me last night. Always thought she’s a doll, so cute, but her performance last night showed that she’s a star. She really channeled Tina Turner. I hope she can create an identity for herself, though, rather than just doing great imitations. Either way, I think she definitely has a future in the business. Someone will pick her up and promote her.
I’m sad that Demi didn’t make it thru, the one who said “I don’t look like the other girls”. I wanted her to go thru for that reason alone. (not really, I also thought she had talent)
I have noticed that most if not all of the girls who made it through are skinny and cute.
Honestly, same is true for the guys.
So 12 women and 9 men sent through. Has anyone heard how the competition will be proceeding since the traditional format is obviously not happening at this point?

American Idol did not tape the semifinal episodes before coronavirus concerns halted film and TV production across the country. Clip shows are scheduled for the next two Sundays. However, Ryan told TMZ that Idol producers are exploring technologies that would allow the network to finish the season while abiding by coronavirus safety guidelines.
I don’t think I liked they way they kept the last 2 dangling. Either it’s top 20 or top 21.
And hello! Olivia! Cute as can be and ready to be a shining star! As a dancer she is so coachable I expect her to be in the top 3 or 4.
Did anyone watch tonight? They announced the winner of America’s vote for #20. I liked them both and was hoping that both would go through and there would be a top 21.
Anyone watching? I missed the first 20 minutes , but it’s bnb interesting to se how they have fixed up the backgrounds of the singers in their homes., given them big round lights, and someone is clearly filming them.

I’m watching. The first 2 were great. Definitely go back and watch. Kimee Gabriella and Jovis Webb. Some are adjusting to the new format better than others. Some are better in this format than on stage. Must be youtubers.
Can’t really help because I don’t know names and faces yet. I do know I’m voting for the first time ever - for Dillon James. He’s just so great, and I really like his story.
I am watching, Neat to see their homes and families and how AI is doing it. So many good singers this year. I am pulling for Arthur Gunn and Dillon James. The young females with the power voices are blowing me away. I think Makayla Phillips and Lauren Spencer-Smith will be in the top 3.
And Johnny had my favorite performance of the night.
I like Jonny West too, more than I expected.
