<p>Pre-show, I like Sanjaya and Blake Lewis (beatboxer!).
I hope they do well tonight.</p>
<p>Brandon Rogers. Because he's about to sing and I haven't formed any opinions about him yet.</p>
<p>Darn, the Asian guy sucked.</p>
<p>all have been overwhelmingly unimpressive</p>
<p>I thought Jared Cotter ("Back at One") was much better than the judges' responses.</p>
<p>But yeah, overall, I hope the girls are better.</p>
<p>Their nerves got to all of them.</p>
<p>Sanjaya, Blake and Chris S. were the best.</p>
<p>I thought Blake was the best. Who doesn't love King?</p>
<p>I didn't think Sanjaya was that good (although I do like him in general). I liked Blake, Chris S., and... what's his name? Phil something?</p>
<p>There's an Asian guy!!!!!!!! WHAT? LOL</p>
<p>The guy that Blake was pretty good. He had an interesting voice. Other than that, though, they were quite unimpressive (although Sligh was ok). What was up with the Cowell-Seacrest thing? A ****ing contest? A power struggle?</p>
<p>I don't think that there are any "standouts" this year amongst the guys. They all sound like boy-band singers to me. I guess Blake was the best, but besides that, no one was that great. They all pale in comparison to Daughtry IMO. His rendition of Fuel's song was the best performance in the history of American Idol. There is no way Taylor should have won. His gray hair and "Soul Patrol" gimmick carried him in the beginning, but he is barely a blip on the radar screen now.</p>
<p>The worst, IMO, was Sanjaya. He almost put me to sleep when he tried (and failed miserably) to sing Stevie Wonder. It's funny that he kept singing "I don't want to bore you," and that's just what he did.</p>
<p>I like Sanjaya.</p>
<p>But mostly because he's Indian. Half.</p>
<p>i liked blake, chris, phil, and the funny guy with the curly hair. in that order.</p>
<p>i hope the girls are better and the guys get better. in general they seem to get better as they go along in the season.</p>
<p>the indian was sooo bad :( my mom voted for him just outta sheer bloody mindedness. tho since he's indian, as long as we get at least half the state of New Jersey to vote for him, he'll defintley be in the competition</p>

<p>the guys sucked, the girls blew them out of the water. my favorites so far are blake lewis, phil stacey, lakisha, and melinda doolittle (shes awesome!) :)</p>
<p>i really hope antonella barba goes home she was so bad.</p>

I like a lot more girls that guys this season -- Stephanie, Sabrina, Melinda, LaKisha... Blake for the guys.</p>

<p>The selection of the top 12 is so stupid. Instead of picking 6 guys and 6 girls, they should just pick the best 12 singers. In my top 12, there would be like 9 girls and 3 guys since the girls totally owned the guys. </p>
<p>Although i'm not into the type of music she sings, the best out of everyone is LaKisha. When she sings, it takes her almost no effort to hit the high notes, unlike other singers who strain their voices when trying to hit the high notes.</p>
