<p>I watch the auditions and the last few shows of American Idol. :) The brothers are definetly the best so far. Ohhh and that one girl with the fake tan - hahaha. She was the worst. </p>
<p>Everyone else I know thinks it's lame hahaha. But then again, Canadian Idol is SERIOUSLY lame. I mean, they got Ben Mulroney to MC and he is soooo annoying I can't even watch. He thinks he's Ryan Seacrest, but he's got this super annoying voice. Fyi for all you non-Canadians, Ben is the son of former conservative prime minister Brian Mulroney. They are equally terrible.... hahaha.</p>

And I smell some nepotism in Canadian Idol...or is this just an attempt by the Conservatives to get some good press for the upcoming vote?</p>

<p>The conservatives don't need much more good press thanks to the adventures of Paul Martin, Judge Gomery and AdScam. Besides, I live in Alberta, so I will once again be stuck with Rob Anders (incompetent conservative MP who called Nelson Mandela a "crazy communist terrorist" when the House was discussing giving Mandela honorary citizenship). </p>
<p>Right now I dislike all the parties. The PC had good ideas, but they were taken over by the Canadian Alliance (who I despised, except for the fact that they waited a bit to change their party name from "Canadian Reform Alliance Party". see corresponding acronym). The Liberals have been there too long, are too corrupt, and are led by Paul Martin. The NDP would never really get anything done and the Bloc is a whole other story. If only Rick Mercer would form a party and run...!! </p>

<p>But seriously, if you want to see people look stupid on national television, go watch anything with Rick Mercer in it (he's a canadian comedian). Namely: "The Rick Mercer Report" or "This Hour has 22 Minutes". He used to have a skit called "talking to americans"... it's kind of funny how little you guys know about us!
