<p>Karolina Kurkova is not a good example. I think anyone who has opened a fashion magazine knows karolina kurkova by face. It's just that no one sits and researches models. I consider a top model=girls like her, who are in the real fashion industry, not the BS sports illustrated, etc. Eva and any ANTM girl will never reach their status, because girls like her, although not known by name to the general public are designer's favorites, and are the ones who can sell clothes .</p>

<p>Like Karolina, these girls have been everywhere and are the girls at the top/or have been at the top: Erin Wasson, Karolina Kurkova, Carmen Kass(best runway in my opinion), Jacquetta Wheeler, Liya Kebede(natural classic beauty, no doubt), Natalia Vodianova. and Mariacarla Boscono(my favorite).</p>

<p>PS Don't you guys find annoying when that judge always calls herself the 1st Supermodel ever. I actually like her, but I'm sorry she's wrong when she self proclaims herself the 1st, I consider the 1st supermodels those girls in the late 80's, Naomi, Cindy, Linda etc the first supermodels ever.</p>

<p>Also, if I am a fashion designer, which I will be after I graduate either from Parsons, FIT, or some other school, I would never hire Adrianne, she is too butch, and her facial features especially her nose are ugly, they went really really wrong with choosing her, she would never make it and hasn't made it, that's why you see her in that reality tv on vh1.</p>

<p>I don't think Janice necessarily claims to be the first model to reach that type of status and success, she says she's the first because she coined the term 'supermodel' while working in Paris. I certainly agree that there are plenty of other models that were also famous and successful before Janice. However as timeless as Twiggy's looks were, she only modeled for 2 years and that was it. She never did runway work or made as many covers as Janice or other models that were after/before her. I wouldn't call Twiggy the first supermodel but even though she only worked for 2 years, her photos are still being used and that says alot about her.</p>

<p>I know, I read about it in one of my magazines and they had before and after pictures. In the interview she said that when everyone gets to be her age, they should get plastic surgery to prevent sagging like she did. lol...She is super-fake and she's not perfect, but thats just my opinion.</p>
