HAHAHHAHAHAHHA just saw dcmiss’s post. If we all get in I call dibs on being his best friend.

@ronlo That’s the fun part about the finger lakes, it isn’t yuppie style wine tasting. They actually have buses that will take you around the lake because no one expects you to spit the wine back out(I got a little tipsy =x). The fun part about a lot of the wineries is their uniqueness. One is even called Pompous Ass. Bully Hill Vineyard was by far my favorite. They have a wine with 12% residual sugar…so, SUPER sweet.
I’m at HCC right now. I have two possible major choices, I applied to top schools for neuroscience, since I would want to immediately follow a BA with grad school. (The prospect of working as a lab tech doesn’t really appeal to me.) If I do not get accepted to any then my back up choice is Industrial Engineering. The job prospects there have a low saturation, increasing job market, high salaries, and are appealing (but not AS appealing as being a super neato neurologist). If it goes that way I would still apply for grad schools in neuroscience. Apparently, engineering majors are appealing to a lot of grad programs in neuroscience since they offer a semi-related, interdisciplinary perspective to the field.

@Alyssa Oh most definitely my dear lady puts on english accent and sticks pinky finger out while he sips water . We may need more than just a classy wine-drinking party… Transfer dorm party, anyone :)?

@thelxinoe Thanks for that! I will definitely check that out :). Your plan sounds like a win to me! I’ve never even heard of Industrial Engineering, so that’s awesome. Just remember me when you make it, okay? :). Ah! I hope I get to meet you! You can teach me the ways of the fancy… pulls out gold grillz

Whoops, the classy part was posted while I was still constructing a message. We can go balls-to-the-wall classy. Monocles, pipes, AND TOPHATS! And possibly smoking robes, it would be a nice mix of the monopoly guy and Hugh Hefner.

Also, dcmiss is a male? I assumed the miss part was a reference to being female. Whoops.

@thelxinoe HAHAHA! I thought I was the only one who was confused by that! Yes, dcsmiss is a male.

Wait, thelxinoe brings up a good point. Can we all identify genders right now? I’m female. Everyone else, go.

I am the alpha MALE :).

I love us. I’m a female too.

I don’t know why I assumed that dcmiss was a male…Oooo (I wasn’t gender stereotyping Alyssa I promise :))

And I’m only 18 so I’ll do as much classy partying as is legal for meh.

Female and luckily by the time school starts I’ll be 21 :D

I’ll be nineteen in two weeks but I’m still underage. Lame. Especially since I don’t really like the whole teenage-party scene. I’d just like to have something when I’m in the mood for and when I’m with the right people because it tastes good.

This is the coolest thread on College Confidential. Just sayin’

Of course @ WorriedAlways B-).

Soooo has anyone else tried to see if they had access to random stuff on the Amherst College website/financial aid again or…

I was just accepted to amherst!!! (law of attraction) :)

…what?

Wait you’ve heard back? Congrats, though!

Congrats if you really got accepted :). What do you mean (law of attraction) ?

Ahhh I’m the only one that didn’t say congrats. Congrats!

butomgareyouseriousbecauseifyouareishalldie

Lol idk yet, look it up! Im thinking positively. Law od attraction is like when u think positive thoughts they happen

…Do you realize you made everyone’s heart stop for minute because we thought that you had been accepted…
