Is this place walking distance from campus, or maybe on the bus line?

D told me about Sugarland last night; she knew about Chesney a few weeks ago. Apparently they had asked students to take a survey sometime in the fall about what acts they’d like to see. She was hoping that Darius Rucker would rank higher but she’s excited about the shows.

She’s become so Southern ;)…

Not a big contemporary-country fan, but if/when they book Patty Loveless, I’ll be there with bells on! :)

AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! Can we talk about how excited I am??? This is going to be AWESOME!! It will be so nice not to have to drive to Atlanta or Birmingham for shows. And I’m impressed they got such big names to play during the amphitheater’s opening season. Writing the dates on my calendar right now!!

It is possible to walk to the Amphitheater from north campus (~2 miles) but Google Map says that takes 35-40 minutes.

There’s no bus line for that route, but I’m sure Crimson Ride will operate some sort of special route for the acts.

I’m not surprised about Chesney. He’s a HUGE SEC fan (even though he bleeds that tawdry orange color ;)

OMG - I don’t think my DS has made any note of these BUT if his sister gets wind of them, she may come up with the “great idea to visit her brother”.
