We have received your approved financial aid package and see that there is a balance left for the February academic semester that is not covered by your federal financial aid. This balance of $1075.00 will need to be covered as soon as possible. You were awarded $2675.00 in FSA Pell Grant funds (The Pell award is always based on your status. You now have 5 registrations, causing you to be full time) however the cost of your 5 FSA courses is $3750.00. Students receiving the Pell Grant only to cover the cost of courses will always have a difference owed, as the Pell Grant never covers the full cost of tuition owed for courses.
Here are the options that you have for covering this balance:
Pay balance with credit card.
You can use the attached credit card authorization form if you would like to pay by credit card. If you would prefer to use a check, you can make it out to APUS and mail it to us at:

I do not have a credit card. Apparently, this remaining balance must be paid before I can get VA payments.
You totally placed your thread on the wrong area of this web site.
The fin aid area of this web site actually has folks on there who could totally help you.
I reported your post and asked if it could be moved to the fin aid area of this web site.
Sorry.
The only thing I know in the meantime is that you should just certainly be able to work out a payment plan with the bursar of the school. Every school has that.
Leolibby, how do you like AMU? I am enrolled there for a Master’s degree. I don’t know if I am going to go through with it though. As for your financial situation… I don’t know, bud. Try to work out a payment plan like the person above me said. Maybe you can cut back on some courses?
I appologise for posting in the wrong forum. Entropy, I was at first very impressed with AMU, but now I am not. My FSA supervisor can’t even formulate a coherant sentence. Also, it disturbs me that they have that chat feature. Am I paying for that?
I think I’ll just use up my GI Bill there (taking the GIS classes), and then move on to the UNI of Montana Western. At that school, they work it so you only attend one class (for 3 weeks I think) and them move on to another class.
