An important question for EVERYONE.

I did not know the 2005 statistics were up, thank you for sharing. At our orientation one of the women in charge of admissions said the average GPA was a 4.0 and the average SAT was 1400. Now, if you look at the numbers it says:

Fall applicants: middle 50% SAT-->1120-1360
Fall ADMITS: middle 50% SAT-->1310-1460
Fall matriculants(those going): middle 50% SAT-->1280-1420

So, USC's pool of admitted students is an average 1385 SAT......however, its final pool of students yields only a 1350. A 1350 is still 84.4% and therefore the 2000 is a decrease of nearly 1%.

So there we have it. I for one am a bit misled by USC and their sexying up of numbers in jargon. But in the end the 2000 is not a generous, but a fair average.

If I got a 33 on the ACT, what colleges require that I submit SAT IIs in addition to my ACT?

A previous poster said that Johns Hopkins required SAT11s but it does not if you submit the ACT with Writing....
