I might've left something out, but that's the basic jist. Be brutally honest please.

I think you have a chance
Your SSATS were good and you said your recommendations and short answers were great too!
I like you interest of puzzles. Very unique.
The problem is… Andover is Extremely selective and you need to have something phenomenal in your application.
What private schools really look into the most is academics, ECs, interviews…the advancement in you math will help.
You have straight A’s which is scary to but not unique to the admissions
You said your interview was great. But was there a connection? Do you think the interviewer had a great time talking to you? If so, that will BOOST your applications.
Hm…ur mentioning in the “mostly likely to succeed” is great but I don’t think its gonna help ur application…but ur interest in puzzles is awesome though!
I really feel that you should put more EC’s to your application, i don’t think theres enough…Add that you play basketball or tennis for fun… im sure that will help
For ex: I am learning french, chinese, japanese, spanish…
But honestly, I think you have a chance; i doubt Andover would reject you but you might be waitlisted (thats not bad depending on your place)

thank you! I am learning Mandarin Chinese if you wanted to know…

Haha looks like insider. :)

Wow. You don’t need many EC’s just so it can look interesting. What you have is enough and just because you are learning 4 different languages doesn’t mean you will get accepted.

urban flop,
he or she is only learning mandarin chinese.

skisoccer2014,
you seem to have a pretty good chance.

bump

tenchar

I think you have a pretty good chance, but do you have anything that really stands out about yourself? It seems like you have placed many contests. But what is special to you?

Perhaps my hobby of puzzling does. I don’t know of many people who do that…

i think you have a very good chance at andover, your jigsaw passion is very unique. chance me back!
