I know you can't base someone's chances off an SSAT score, but I was wondering if I got a 94 percentile on the SSAT, should I still try to apply for Andover or do I not stand a chance?
[If anyone is applying to Andover, if you put your scores below, that would be helpful too]

Andover’s average is 93%, as stated on their website, so yes you do have a chance. ust remember SSAT is the last thing they look at, good or bad, good luck!

SSAT is what puts you in what they call the pool of people who are “academically acceptable.” Anything over around 85 or so (assuming) would put you in this pool. From there, they don’t really care about your SSAT score unless it is like 97+, then it helps you.

I’m applying for 9th grade and I got in the 96th percentile overall.
92%- verbal
93%- math
95%- reading
If you got that score, you definitely have a chance! Your SSAT score is not the only thing that matters though. Good Luck!
