I was very interested in this thread when I saw the title. Andover vs. Exeter! Then I read some of the posts and I am disappointed. Who cares which has more famous alumnae?

Let's focus on the really important stuff. In a fight between a gorilla and a lion, who wins? Discuss.

Hmmmmmmm a lion or a gorilla, I will put my money on the lion. Afterall, a lion is the "King" of the jungle, and that "Gunga" character doesn't look too mean.

Here are two little-known facts to weigh when deciding between Andover and Exeter.

The dress code for guys at Exeter (shirt and tie) is a throwback to the past. Time to let it go (like Andover did a while ago). How about t-shirts with ties printed on them instead? Wearing a tie isn't just uncomfortable, it's not good for you, either: BBC NEWS | Health | Tight ties could damage eyesight

On the other hand, when it comes to US Presidential Scholars, Exeter has Andover beat--22 since the program began in 1964 vs. 11 for Andover (although similar numbers in the last 10 years or so), and the schools are approximately the same size (1000-1100).
Well, Interlochen has both schools beat: Since 1980, 39 Interlochen graduates have been chosen as Presidential Scholars in the Arts and Academics, more than any other high school in the United States. Plus, Interlochen only has 500 students!

Yes, it is a fine arts academy. Located in Northern Michigan, kids study music, theatre, dance, visual arts, creative writing and motion picture arts. My understanding the academics are rigorous as well, though.

LOL... I don't know about being big on names but, you do have an interesting take on names, since your screen name is: prep " pee-pee" hee hee.... sorry I couldn't resist.....
