You Still Have To Submit Professor Recs!!! 2 Of Them!!!

yeah, but high school councelor too? isnt that a bit much? do any of the other schools you're applying to require that?

YES. for instance: YALE, STANFORD, COLUMBIA, UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, DARTMOUTH.

When your high school sends your transcript, ask NICELY if they can send your guidance counselor's letter of recommendation that they probably wrote for you when you applied to colleges in high school.

haha, i would, but it seems that brown requires (oddly enough) that THEIR high school councelor form be filled out despite leaving the applicant apparently on their own to supply the professorial and dean's reports *** is that!?
no one sees this as strange? no one has any problem presenting their already slightly bitter dean and professors with a blank piece of stationary and ask them to fill that out?

why would they be bitter?

I don't know haha My professor at my university was more than happy to write me a recommendation. As for the guidance counselor form..I spoke to somebody at my school and they said that along with my transcript, they would send my guidance counselor's letter that was written when I was a senior.

I think you are getting waaaaay too stressed over something that is in reality no big deal and which you cannot change. Relax, fill out the forms, send them in and keep your fingers crossed. Good luck!
